The sequence of random shots, the migrant's attempts to delineate the space of the new life that hasn't been freely chosen but forced upon him and keeps imposing itself.
Loneliness and alienation.(E)mmigration. The difference between a migrant, an (e)mmigrant, and an (i)mmigrant. The absence from the real life constantly trying to survive the reality.
The Parco Leonardo railway station: Nessun'uomo e un immigrante (No one is an immigrant). It is the sociopolitical aspect of emmigration. However, there is also the personal, intimate feeling of not belonging that the life of an emigre only intensifies. In the absence of the continuity of everyday life, a person has to invent it.
And record it, to assure oneself of its existence.
